"Welcome to all of our lovely guests. Tonight is one of the most highly anticipated nights in all of Hollywood as we celebrate our biggest stars and our greatest talents. Each of you has earned your place in this room through your respective industries. Gathered here tonight, we have the best of the best musicians, actors, comedians, and television stars. You all shine the brightest in your fields and we are honored to have you here with us.

Historically, Hollywood has been known as a place where everyday people can defeat the odds of mediocrity and attempt to make it big. It shines as a beacon of hope that people with overly ambitious dreams flock to in an attempt to get their very own fifteen minutes of fame. The people in this room, however, have overcome the odds and now stand as some of the most admired people in all of the country.

Now, with every story of a successful star, there is also the inevitable drama surrounding them and every decision that they have made. There is definitely not a single person here who remains a stranger to this drama. Each of you is surrounded with your fair share of histories to be discovered and secrets to be learned. While all of you are among the rich and the famous, we also have quite a few who dabble with the conniving and the desperate.

In true Hollywood fashion, we had high hopes to celebrate tonight with no drama but given all of the scandals that have occurred during the past year, we also understand why this simply could not be the case.
